#ReadDiverse2017 is the brainchild of Naz at Read Diverse Books. You can read the original post here.
In order to take part in this challenge, all you need to do is to read diverse books and review them! Eligible books are:
- Written by author of colour or Native/Indigenous Peoples
- By or about people with disabilities (physical, neurodiversity, etc)
- About LGBTQIA+ issues or with LGBTQIA+ protagonists
Marginalised authors will always qualify. If an author is not marginalized, then the book must be intersectional. Aside from the above rules, you’re free to read what you like, which means that it’s easy to do this at the same time as other reading challenges, which is great.
The first link-up deadline is on 31st March, and for every review, you get one point. Once you reach the milestones of 5, 10, 20 and 30 reviews, you are awarded badges.
